CBD and its Uses

Is CBD legal and am I buying the right CBD?

There are hundreds of options when it comes to CBD but at Phexia we think that information is the best way to make the right decision. This way you will be able to choose the highest quality CBD and you will be sure that you are buying the best CBD products for you.

What is CBD and what are its effects?

CBD or Cannabidiol is one of the most important cannabinoids of the hemp plant because it has no psychoactive or narcotic effect but it has multiple benefits: CBD relieves pain, reduces anxiety, has an anti-inflammatory effect, and improves sleep among others.

How do I know I am buying the right CBD?

Phexia’s CBD comes from the best organic hemp crops, free of chemicals and other additives.

To ensure that our products have been tested and verified, we publish all third-party lab reports. And we guarantee that they have not undergone any genetic engineering process.

Is it legal to buy CBD?

CBD and some other hemp products are absolutely legal as long as they contain less than the 0.3% THC limit. Phexia’s CBD contains less than 0.05% THC.

Buy the best CBD with safety and confidence

All the information on informative characters that you will find on our web has its origin in the scientific community. For this, the Phexia team collaborates with Dr. Jesús A. Fernández Tresguerres, Professor of Physiology and Endocrinology, a specialist in CBD and Melatonin, two of the main active ingredients we use to develop our products. Your health and safety are our main concerns.

CBD vs. Hemp Seed Oil

CBD oil comes from hemp flowers which are rich in cannabidiol, so do not confuse it with the hemp oil we can buy in the supermarket, which is obtained exclusively from hemp seeds and contains absolutely no cannabinoids.

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are aromatic chemical compounds present in many plants. Their main function is to protect the plant from external agents (fungi, insects, etc.), but they have many more properties. Myrcene, for example, is the most abundant terpene in the hemp plant, but it is also present in e.g. cumin, laurel, mango, or nuts.

Terpenes enter in synergy with cannabinoids enhancing their effects.

What is the difference between isolated CBD, broad-spectrum CBD, or full-spectrum CBD?

Full-spectrum CBD preserves the full range of active principles found in the hemp plant. This includes its full cannabinoid and terpene profile.

In contrast, isolated CBD involves removing all other active ingredients or phytochemicals, leaving pure CBD. Isolated CBD can be used to get started in the use of CBD, although the ideal to benefit from all its effects is broad-spectrum CBD. For topical use, isolated CBD can also offer good results.

Broad-spectrum CBD is a hybrid of the two previous ones. It is manufactured by isolating the compounds of the plant individually and re-combining them, eliminating the THC.

This is done to mimic the effects of full-spectrum CBD so it can vary significantly in terms of active ingredients. The most important thing is to check the lab reports as this CBD is the one that can have the most misleading practices for the consumer. In Phexia we are always transparent with the composition of our products and that is why we share with you the laboratory reports.

There are many mislabeled products on the market that may make you think you are buying broad spectrum or full spectrum CBD when it is isolated CBD for which you should definitely not pay more, as it will not offer you all the benefits of full-spectrum CBD according to TheFanAngel.
